Professor Francesco Giavazzi presented a lecture to a packed audience on the potential dynamics of the Italian economy in the wake of the spring election cycle and its consequences for the wider Euro area.
Francesco Giavazzi is a professor of economics at Bocconi University in Milan, where he has been deputy director responsible for the university's research activities and a regular visiting Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He is a former adviser to the Italian prime minister and to the president of the European Commission.
